As a longtime Medford resident, Laurie is deeply connected to her Tufts neighborhood and is passionate about her community involvement throughout Medford, Arlington, and Cambridge.  She volunteers at Friday Café, which is a local church that feeds the homeless; she supports Community Servings, an organization that prepares nutritious meals for the sick and elderly; and is a strong supporter of Arlington Eats, which distributes over 10,000 pounds of food to needy families.  In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors with her beloved dog Lucy, hiking in the Fells, and spending time with friends and family.
